What keeps you signed in, remembers your bag and saves your privacy choices. Some storage supports a feature you request; measurement has separate controls.
Use Privacy choices in the footer to accept or reject optional product analytics, or change a previous choice. Necessary sign-in, bag and security storage is not switched off by rejecting optional analytics.
Seller storefront counters are a separate channel. They depend on the shop’s analytics setting and respect your browser’s Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Do not assume the product-analytics toggle changes every seller counter or the source recorded with a Follow action.
An anonymous choice is saved for the website origin you are using. A choice on yogroo.com is not automatically copied to app.yogroo.com, a seller’s own domain or another browser. When signed in, the product-analytics control reads and saves your account preference where available.
Account, shopping & security
Set when the relevant feature is used, not all on every visit. Server-set authentication and access cookies are not readable by page scripts and are sent securely over HTTPS in production.
Sign-in session
Keeps your account signed in and renews access while your session remains valid. Cleared by logging out.
Where: Server-set cookies
How long: Server-issued access and refresh lifetimes; they can differ and may rotate. Check your browser’s cookie expiry for your current session.

Carries the details of your in-progress signup between screens, including an invite code if you entered one. Cleared when signup completes.
Where: Server-set cookie
How long: Up to 1 hour after the latest saved signup step.

Guest bag session

Where: Server-set cookie

cart_session_id
Bag saved on this device
Remembers the current shop and bag items between page visits. The server checks current stock and totals at checkout.
Where: Local storage
How long: No automatic time expiry. Updated as the bag changes; clearing the bag resets its contents. You can remove the entry through browser site-data settings.

Private guest order access
Lets this browser retrieve an order without a full account. This policy also covers booking access where that flow is available.
Where: Server-set cookies, one per order or booking
How long: Up to 30 days from being set. Access can end earlier if the server refuses the token.

Google or Apple sign-in round trip
Matches a sign-in response to the browser that started it. Used only when that sign-in method is available and selected.
Where: Server-set cookies
How long: Up to 10 minutes; removed when the flow is completed.

Confirmation for a security change
Carries a short-lived confirmation for enabling extra verification or deleting an account.

Private storefront preview
Lets an authorised browser view one shop’s unpublished design. Removed when you exit that preview.

How long: At most 15 minutes, or the preview link’s remaining validity if shorter.

Safe retries for an order or payment
Remembers which request you were attempting, so retrying an uncertain result can reuse the same operation rather than creating another one.
Where: Session storage
How long: Removed when the result is definite, otherwise for the tab’s browsing session.

Remembering your privacy preferences
These entries support the privacy control itself. Keeping a record of rejection is different from permission to measure your use.
Your anonymous product-analytics choice
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional product analytics. The entry stores the choice, policy version and time saved, not an identity.
Where: Local storage
How long: The choice is accepted for 180 days, or until its policy version changes. The entry itself has no browser-enforced expiry; it remains until replaced or cleared.

An unresolved privacy change
Keeps optional product analytics paused when a preference change has not been confirmed. This value is never treated as permission to collect.
Where: Local storage
How long: No automatic time expiry. Updated after a confirmed choice, or removed when you clear site data.

Measurement & source attribution
These purposes are separate from placing an order. Product analytics requires its own valid choice; seller counters and follow-source attribution work as described below.
Arrival channel for seller storefront counters
Remembers this tab’s arrival channel and campaign information for seller measurement. Counter collection requires the seller’s analytics setting, runs only on live storefronts and respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.
Where: Session storage
How long: For the tab’s browsing session. Turning off counter collection does not itself erase an already stored tab value.

yogroo:storefront:entry-attribution
Arrival channel for a follow
Remembers the channel used to reach a shop, so a Follow action can carry that source. This separate tab-level value is not your product-analytics choice and contains no visitor identifier.
Where: Session storage
How long: For the tab’s browsing session.

Optional product measurement
When configured and accepted, approved product events can be sent to PostHog. Anonymous measurement uses an in-memory identifier; signed-in measurement can be associated with your account. The current transport does not persist an analytics identifier or event queue in browser storage.
Where: Page memory; no additional persistent analytics cookie or storage key from this transport
How long: Pending events remain only in memory until sent or discarded. Revoking permission discards pending events and stops new optional product collection.
Clearing site data
Cookies, local storage and session storage are different browser stores. Local storage has no automatic expiry unless the application checks one. Session storage belongs to a tab’s browsing session; some browsers can restore it with restored tabs.
Your browser’s site-data settings can remove stored entries. Clearing them can sign you out, reset privacy prompts, empty your local bag or remove guest access to an order. It does not delete your account or the server’s order records. Keep order references before clearing data.
Payment or identity providers may apply their own storage when you leave Yogroo for their pages. Their controls and notices apply there. This inventory describes Yogroo’s current web application; it is not a claim that every external provider uses the same storage or lifetimes.
